We can be a powerful unified voice, know that. It is crucial that people of color vote in the November 2016 election. Your Vote Counts!

One of my most inspirational saying was written by Dr. Maya Angelou: “And Still I Rise.” Feel the meaning of these words today and in November; go to the polls and vote with purpose.

Benjamin F. Chavis Jr. is going to mobilize 20 million black voters. Why it is important in this November election?  He expresses it better than I:

“We have both a sacred obligation and a historic responsibility to ensure that we will have the largestBlack American voter turnout in history.  Why? Because the overall quality of life of our families and communities are at stake.  Our energy, actions, and spirits must remain high and we have to fully engage the electoral process locally, regionally and nationally.”

~~~ Benjamin F. Chavis Jr., President of the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA).
Peace and Love.
